The customer

With the newly developed CRH-110 cable reel handler, JBM is setting new standards in intralogistics: this advanced solution optimises the transport and handling of cable reels, improves efficiency and at the same time contributes to a safe and ergonomic working environment.


The challenge

The CRH-110 transports large cable reels both inside and outside production, often on uneven terrain. The enormous load of up to 110 tonnes places high demands on the load capacity of the wheels used. At the same time, the customer required the wheels to be gentle on the ground and their diameter to fit into the limited installation space of the chassis.

GB 1000/160PRWith the GB 1000/160PR heavy-duty wheel, Blickle has the optimum solution in its standard range to meet the high requirements. The Blickle Besthane polyurethane tread has a high dynamic load capacity and is good floor surface preservation and is abrasion-resistant at the same time. Thanks to its very low rolling resistance, the CRH-110 is easy to manoeuvre even under maximum load. To ensure easy installation, the wheels are already equipped with spherical roller bearings. The Blickle solution offers JBM Company Kalmar AB numerous advantages: The delivery of a standard product reduces development time and costs. In addition, the chassis remains slim thanks to the compact design of the wheels.
